Haribaldev Jew Temple is a Hindu temple of Jagannath in Baripada, the district headquarters of Mayurbhanj. It is universally known as the Second Sreekhetra, after the Jagannath temple at Puri. Legend says Jagannath appeared to Maharaja Baidyanath Bhanj in a dream and asked him to build a temple in Baripada, so that the deity could come down to be near his devotee.
Shri Baidyanath Bhanj built the temple in 1575 AD, on the same architectural principles as the Kakharua Baidyanath temple at Manatri. The walls are made of laterite stone with carved designs. The temple has a Vimana, a Jagamohan and a Nata Mandira, and a large boundary wall encircles it, a replica of the one at Puri.
The Car festival is held the day after the Car festival at Puri. It began in 1575 AD, the year the temple was completed. During the festival the deities stay for nine days at the Radha Mohan temple, their aunt's house, in Baripada.
