Why devotees come here

Siddharoodha Math is one of the most respected spiritual destinations in Karnataka, in the heart of Hubballi (Hubli). Hubballi is one of North Karnataka's busiest cities, with its own markets, culture and heritage. The Math is devoted to the saint Siddharoodha Swamiji.

The Math honours Siddharoodha Swamiji, a revered saint. His teachings still inspire people in Karnataka and neighbouring states. Located in the heart of Hubballi, it welcomes thousands of devotees and visitors every year. The Math is one of the city's most visited spiritual landmarks.

The Math combines traditional temple design with elegant architecture. Its spacious prayer hall has marble flooring and decorative pillars, and the courtyards are well kept. The samadhi shrine of Siddharoodha Swamiji is the spiritual centre of the Math, and devotees pray there throughout the day. Most visitors spend one to two hours here, attending prayers and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

One of the biggest events here is Siddharoodha Jayanthi, the saint's birth anniversary. The Math is decorated with flowers and lights for it. Special prayers, devotional music, cultural programmes and religious discourses take place through the celebrations.
