Ashok Dham is a Shiva temple in Lakhisarai district, Bihar, also known as Indradamneshwar Mahadev Mandir. Devotees come for its tranquil setting and its large celebrations. The temple is also popular for the Mundan ceremony, held alongside the regular rituals.
Local legend tells of a shepherd named Ashok who grazed cows here. One day, while playing gilli-danda, he is said to have noticed a large Shivling buried in the ground. The record gives 7 April 1977 as the day it was found. On 11 February 1993, the Shankaracharya of Jagannathpuri inaugurated the restructured temple complex.
A temple is recorded on this site from the 12th century, said to have been built by King Indradyumna. The main shrine, Indradamneshwar Mahadev Mandir, stands at the centre, with three smaller temples for Parvati, Nandi and Durga around it. On Maha Shivratri, pilgrims from many parts of India offer Ganges water to the deity.
