Rangji Temple, also written Rangaji, is the largest temple devoted to Vishnu in Vrindavan. Vrindavan is a historic city in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, in the Braj Bhoomi region. It lies on the west bank of the Yamuna, about 15 km north of Mathura, and it is regarded as Krishna's spiritual home.
The temple was built in 1851. Its design brings together Rajput and South Indian architectural styles, and the source calls the structure massive. The compound has a tall gopuram, which is the gateway tower in the South Indian style, along with a garden and a water tank. A 50-foot flag mast gleaming with gold is part of the temple.
Rangji is counted among the famous temples of Mathura and Vrindavan, along with Govind Dev, Dwarikadhish, Bankey Bihari and ISKCON. The Jal Vihar ceremony and Rath-ka-Mela are the two major festivals celebrated here.
