Why devotees come here
Anjanilal Mandir stands on the banks of the Ajnar river at the Dussehra ground in Biaora, a town in Rajgarh district, Madhya Pradesh. Opposite the shrine stands a large white marble temple built by the trust, and a Jyotirlinga Mahadev temple stands on the same campus.
Anjanilal Mandir is dedicated to Anjani Lalji, also called Anjanilal. About 45 years ago he was seated on a platform in a secluded area amid dense thickets, away from the city.
The spot was an uninhabited, desolate place before the temple was developed here. With the cooperation of all, it has now become a delightful site, and the Sri Anjaneelal Temple Committee runs the temple today.
Opposite the Anjanilal shrine, a large temple built by the trust houses Rama with Sita, Lakshmana and Anjanilal. It is built of white Makrana marble inside and out, in the style of a grand palace, with carvings, jaalis and curtains. Its Satsang Bhawan hall measures 100 by 30 feet, and about 3000 listeners can sit there comfortably. Three rooms with all facilities were built beside the hall to house scholars. The campus has three pillars: a Shri Ram temple, an Anjanilal temple and a Jyotirlinga Mahadev temple.
