Why devotees come here
The Kalyana Venkateswara Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram, in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, is counted among the ancient temples of Tirupati city. Its Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams festival marks the restoration of the old temple and the resumption of worship there.
Tirupati city is known for many ancient temples, and the Kalyana Venkateswara Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram is counted among them. The main deity is Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy. The temple holds festivals through the year, from Brahmotsavams in February to Dhanurmasam in December.
Each year the Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams mark the restoration of the old temple and the return of worship there. In 2026 the festival began on 17 July and ran for three days. The programmes included Snapana Tirumanjanam, Unjal Seva, Vahana Sevas and devotional cultural programmes. The festivities were set to end with Parveta Utsavam on 20 July, near Srivari Mettu.
In June 2026 the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) began a special action plan to develop the temple further and improve facilities for devotees.
